A product or service can be used in isolation, but in most instances, each complements the other in order to provide the best customer experience. Due to this, marketing products and services have many similarities. For example, a restaurant serves a product, but the customer experience a combination of both product and service time taken for delivery, customer reception, quality, and taste.
